I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Educational Studies (Faculty of Education) at the University of British Columbia, Canada. This blog highlights my thinking process as it relates to my research and other ordinary things.

My doctoral research focuses on several things. These include: the everyday; affects; children; schools; post-humanist/non-representational theories and methodologies; image-based research. From this list, it’s difficult to pin-point exactly what my research ‘is about’, and that is exactly my intention. Instead, I’m attempting to think through concepts, feelings, spaces, and writing experiments in order to bring my ‘topic’ to the surface in the hopes of thinking and producing something new.
